WHAT A WEEKEND!!

Karens Workshop plus the view from the workshop window

On Sunday, we visited Karen Haskew from Hazee Bears who moved from the big smoke to Ellenborough. Port Macquarie people what a goldmine you have here. She is now stocking our mohair, patterns, tools etc. Her workshop is to die for, the countryside view from her windows is just awesome, and what is even better than that, she will share it with us. She is starting to do workshops and if there is a group of people who would like to have a de-stressing weekend away we can even arrange that.

Please phone her on (02) 6587 4441 or contact us at Teddys Bits (02) 9680 3777 if you are interested in joining the teddy bear workshop that has been organised

What a busy time we have had

This workshop with Merilyn just grew and grew. A couple of ladies wanted Merilyn to teach them faces on Monday, a few more heard about it and all of a sudden we had eight ladies making these bears

The moral to that story is if there is a couple of people wanting to learn something from Susan or Merilyn, just let us know and we can organise it

Did you guess???

Does this give you any more clues???????

The answer is Susan's clay noses.

These ladies were our great Sunday group,

Like Saturday, there was one different, but didn't the green look just gorgeous

We are kitting them up ready for Easter, both pink or green (someone even suggested a soft mauve)

A cooking lesson!!!!!

You thought we only made bears at out workshop. All will be revealed tomorrow.

Nine lovely ladies on Saturday made Susan Leigh's (Bearleigh Bears) rabbit named Kassandra
More pictures tomorrow that will show our Sunday ladies making the rabbits

These are how the rabbits turned out. Of course there always has to be one that is different

Besides the colour, spot the difference and it might give you a clue with the oven.

Everyone from Teddys Bits wish you all a Happy New Year. We hope you had a very restful holiday time & are ready to hit the year running, making lots of new bears

As Australia Day is coming up, lets get patriotic make some Australiana Bears. Maybe you could make Monica Spicer's Euka & Lyptus the gum blossom bears, Sheila the Koala or Loris Hancock's Ring Tail Possum or her Bilby which can also be used for Easter
